This so-called memorial for Charlie Kirk is nothing more than a Nazi rally. I fear that there is going to be an explosion of far right violence soon. And nothing will be done to stop it. Stephen Miller's speech was right out of the Goebbels playbook. Other speakers have compared Kirk to Jesus, Martin Luther King Jr., JFK. I bet the entire Kennedy family is disgusted by RFK Jr.'s speech today.
The Kirk supporters who waited outside the arena left massive piles of trash outside. Fitting. They are trash. This was no different than a Trump rally. I hope the power in the arena goes out before Trump himself speaks. (As I write this, it's still going on. Six hours and counting. )
The Democrats and moderate/Never Trumper Republicans need to have a huge protest of their own. Perhaps it should be a memorial for our democracy.
