Tonight before choir practice, Katie announced that her oncologist said that she is an official breast cancer survivor! It looks like we've both kicked cancer's ass. It's been a tough time for both of us. My ovarian cancer ordeal began in 2018, her journey started in 2020 during the pandemic. Six years of surgeries, chemo, radiation therapy (Katie, not me), and a lot of worry.
