I laid down on my bed after dinner last night, thinking I'd rest for half an hour...and woke up at 1 a.m. And I was hungry! Every second of rest and every bite of food goes to healing. I think I'm recovering a bit faster than I did from the gallbladder and previous hernia surgeries. Still have some pain, though.
Meanwhile, I've ordered the Ariel bundle from AG. She won't get here until late June/early July, but AG has a 3x points bonus this weekend. I had almost enough with gift cards from Christmas and Valentine's Day, plus dog sitting money in PayPal. This is my get well present to myself! I ordered Claudie's pajamas, too, to get a few more points.

I couldn't go to church today. I was exhausted after taking a shower. My appetite is pretty much back. I had a good lunch with enough left over for dinner. I actually helped Mom with dinner last night. She bought hamburger sliders and sweet Hawaiian rolls, so we made Red Robin style teriyaki pineapple burgers! They were good. I can't do a lot, but it feels good to do something.

I have a regular appointment with my PA tomorrow for med refills. I'll have her look at my incisions to see if they're okay. My surgery follow-up is next week. No stitches or staples to take out this time- they used surgical glue. I've had no problems, but as I heal, there's a lot of itching!
