Solar eclipse day! The weather cooperated, so the eclipse was actually visible in our area. We weren't in an area with totality, but about 87% of the sun was covered. It definitely got a bit darker and cooler for a few minutes!
My photos suck. I took them through a filter, but they really don't show how much coverage there was.

The dolls had to get into the action, too. I found a template to make little solar glasses. They turned out so cute!

That was fun. The next total solar eclipse in North America will be in 2044, and only visible in Montana and the Dakotas.
I'm glad I had that little distraction. This
morning I did my pre-op interview, so I'm ready to check in on Thursday morning. I've packed an overnight bag with extra underwear, socks, my charger, and of course, Ezri in the health care worker outfit! Also packed my headphones. If I'm stuck at the hospital overnight, I can at least watch the new episode of Star Trek Discovery (if I'm feeling up to it).
