November is going to suck as much as October did. We just found out that Katie's best friend Regi, who was pretty close to being family by now, died in her sleep last night. Likely a heart attack, as they ran in her family. Regi was Sam's godmother, and she was one of the first people to visit me in the hospital when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Katie is just devastated.
On top of everything else, Rory had his senior cat wellness check yesterday. He has gained weight and seems healthy, but he is developing cataracts and may be diabetic. They're going to run tests. His glucose was a little bit higher than normal. I hope he's not diabetic. He really doesn't need to deal with shots.
