My little witches!

And other things. I didn't do anything on Halloween this year, but I did dress up the dolls and put up the decorations. Mom gave me a Halloween tree for my birthday. It's been up since September 1st! She made a tree skirt and I had plenty of ornaments.

I dressed up every modern doll and all the Wellie Wishers this year. I've been collecting outfits for so long, and now I have extra costumes! The only historical dolls with costumes are Courtney and Maryellen. Molly's hula outfit disintegrated years ago. Paper was a bad choice!

Multiple photos of dolls in costumes, posing with the outdoor decorations and "trick-or-treating". There are even more pictures on Facebook and Instagram.

Of course, Kavi and Sophie were in their Wicked costumes. Elphaba and Glinda stole the show!

October really, really sucked. I actually felt bad as I was taking down the decorations. As I explained to a Facebook friend, it was because I really didn't get a chance to enjoy them until the last week. First I was in the hospital, then I spent two and a half weeks in a post anesthesia fog, not to mention the pain and nausea. Fortunately, the worst of it is over. I did have a couple of bad days this week. My digestive system is still adjusting to life without a gallbladder. I think I'm finally able to eat almost normally. The surgery site still hurts now and then. It's only bad at night, especially if I've done a lot during the day. I'm finally going to church tomorrow, though I don't think I can sing yet! Katie will need me to dog sit soon. I think I'm ready!

October was a waste (except for Uncle John's visit), but November should be much better.
