My surgery was a week ago. I must have been really out of it, because it doesn't feel that long ago! I've been home for four days now. My appetite is better, and I'm moving around more. I was even able to do a small load of laundry today! I have to miss out on dog sitting next week. I'm not up to it yet. Boo. Taking a shower and getting dressed is still a challenge. Once my staples are out, I'll be able to move better. I hate that "pulling" feeling near the surgery site!
I ordered Nicki tonight. Hooray for big point bonuses. I also ordered a holiday dress for Maritza.
Meanwhile, I had two small packages arrive while I was in the hospital. I just opened them yesterday! Here's Corinne and Briony dressed in retro outfits. Briony looks great in Nicki's red jumper! They'll have to fight over it. Also, Isobel tried on the new Christmas silly sweater, which came with matching girl and doll headbands. The headband fit me.

Mom's birthday is on Tuesday. I should be well enough to go to dinner. Unfortunately, because I was in the hospital/sick for over a week, her presents are mostly going to be late. I think she's happy to have me home and recovering, though!
