She was having a great time in Italy,
but she now has Covid-19. She's vaccinated and double boosted, and still caught it. She spent all of Sunday in bed, and is missing the German portion of the trip. As soon as she tests negative, she's flying home from the Venice area. I'm going to be at her house at least an extra day. She is feeling better, though. She might get to see more of Venice before she leaves. Good thing she had travel insurance. Sucks that she missed a third of the trip.
Maisie is a great puppy, but she's wearing me out! I've had fun with her this past week. She loves to snuggle and play Tug-of-war!

Before Katie left, we went to another sip and paint event with Mom. This time we painted a heron!

Finally, my Sparkling Ballerina arrived before I left for Katie's house. She's gorgeous. I named her Georgia! I also got a freebie- the Team USA set; team jacket, flag, and medals. I put it all on McKenna.

Next week is my birthday. We're celebrating by going to Richmond to Maymont, because I missed the last trip. Then, of course, we're going to Can-Can for my birthday dinner.
