I had a $20 reward at AG, and I've had my eye on the Sparkling Ballerina (last of the Costco sets) in the Last Chance section. I had extra money in my PayPal account due to unexpected sales, so I figured I'd get myself an early birthday present! She's beautiful. I thought at first she was too much like Gabby, but her face and hair are different. And even with the shipping costs, she's less than half of the original price. By the end of the year, I'll have 38 AGs (assuming Claudie is released this fall) and 6 Wellie Wishers (including Gwynn)!

I've started re-reading the "Aubreyad" (the Patrick O'Brian Aubrey-Maturin series). I want to finish all of them by 2023, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Master and Commander! And I don't know if I can pull this off, but I want to make M&C dolls- Captain Aubrey, Dr. Maturin, and of course my boys, Lieutenants Pullings and Mowett. (Especially Mowett!). I'm going to look for costume patterns and second hand/TLC AG dolls to refurbish and re-wig. I'm sure Mom will help me with the sewing!
