I'm a nervous wreck. My blood test results came in today. They're telling me that I have chronic kidney disease stage 3. I had no idea. I don't have any of the listed symptoms. This has to be chemo related. Carboplatin is one of the drugs that can cause it. And guess which drug I had during chemotherapy? Carboplatin and Taxol. Fuck cancer. Even though the ovarian cancer is pretty much cured, the rest of my life is going to suck.
At least stage 3 is manageable with diet and exercise. And maybe this is why I've been so tired recently. When I see my doctor in June, she'll give me more information and probably send me to a kidney specialist. I'll have to bring it up with my oncologist in June, too.
