I've felt like total crap the past two days. I spent most of Saturday cooking and baking for my family's little Kentucky Derby party. Halfway through, I had a spell of shakiness and weakness and I had to rest. I thought I was just tired and/or dehydrated. My mom thinks I might have caught a bug. My allergies and the weather are also knocking me down. This is how I felt during chemo. May 8th was the fourth anniversary of my first chemo session. Four years. Wow. Maybe I just had a flashback. But my first session of chemo wasn't that bad. It wasn't until my third session that I really felt sick.
The Derby was fun this year! The winner, Rich Strike, had 80-1 odds, and wasn't originally supposed to race. It was wild.
I dressed Evette and Makena up for the Derby.

And of course I made my Derby Pie.

I still felt bad this morning and missed church. I also didn't get to go out for Mom's Mother's Day dinner. Dad brought me take-out, though. Mom loved her presents and flowers.
I'm not feeling much better. I think Mom's bug theory is probably spot on. To make myself feel better, I bought myself a tiny present. Disney NuiMOs clothes fit the baby from AG's Caring for Baby set! Miss Lily has a new dress and hat coming her way.

I just got my AG reward, so I'm either going to get Makena's pink jogger outfit or Corinne's camping outfit. Haven't decided if I like the latter yet. When I get my annual Berry award, I'm getting Gwynn and baby Blix.
