Also known as Snowmicron, after the latest Covid-19 variant. We got a foot of snow early Monday and the power was out until 3:30 this afternoon. It was terrible. I actually built a fort out of all my throw pillows to help keep the cold air out! It sure was pretty, though.

Maisie's first snow day! She liked it. Poor puppy has "kennel cough" though, and Katie had to take her to the vet to get some medicine. She's doing better now. Katie still doesn't have power, but has a gas stove for cooking and a wood burning stove in the living room. She and Maisie are fine for now.

My fort. I felt like a ten year old again. LOL. But it worked. I was warm all night!

Power is back, but it took a while to get warm in the house. Corinne had the right idea- snuggle under the covers with some hot cocoa!

Poor Rory was so cold. He's very glad to have heat and light again.
We're supposed to get another three inches of snow on Friday. I hope we don't.
By the way, fuck Covid-19. My hairdresser, who could not be vaccinated, now has it. She was so careful about making sure everyone wore masks around her. I hope she recovers soon.
