I had unexpected complications with my surgery. On Wednesday, I had a second surgery to clear a small bowel obstruction. I've had a lot of extra pain, but the good news is that I'm healing. The tube is out of my stomach, I've been able to walk a lot, I'm slowly starting to eat again, and best of all, I had a shower today. I look and feel more like myself.
I'm going home either Sunday or Monday now. I've never had a hospital stay last this long! So thankful for my mom being able to stay with me.
