I love the "Grace" collection from American Girl, but there's no way in hell I'm buying the full size doll, bake shop, and bistro set- that's about $1000 with shipping! I found an adorable and inexpensive alternative- a little room in a box kit:

It's just about the right size for the mini Grace doll I have (actually she might barely fit, but that's okay...)...once it's built. I just ordered it and it should be here Thursday. I might build it this weekend.
There's a whole line of these room kits, some are simple like this, others are very elaborate. I already have an ornament kit to work on- an itsy bitsy dollhouse in a glass globe. This is what it will look like:
