Comics, action figures, and lilies.

An odd combo, but that's what this week has been like. Big post behind the cut. Lots of photos.



The lilies in Mom's garden are just exploding everywhere. I love this time of year!



Also, the first zucchini has been harvested and eaten. It was just the right size to slice up and put on a pizza! :) The cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, and other squash are starting to come in, but it will be weeks before they're ready.

Sam adopted a cat! He's adorable and well behaved, and Sam is very happy with him.

My Aunt Pauletta is in the hospital. She had a serious eye infection and had to have surgery to take care of it. Yuck. She'll go home tomorrow, hopefully!

On to the comics and action figure portion of my post- first up, I found a nice little winged horse for the Black Knight.



Dane is calling him "Mini Strider". He's more of a winged pony than a winged steed...

Speaking of the Black Knight- he's in Avengers World #8 with Hawkeye and Spider Woman. He looks so pretty in this issue. I love the art:





Also, I picked up two volumes of Captain Britain...the second book has Black Knight in most of it. :)

I finally found a cheap Winter Soldier Black Widow figure. I'll have her next week!

Saw Chef last week, I strongly recommend it. But eat first, you'll be hungry before the movie is over!
