Grrrrr, Meryl winning Best Actress over Viola Davis. Not right. Not this year.
No surpises- The Artist wins Best Picture, Original Score, Costumes, Actor for Jean Dujardin, and Director. Supporting Actor Christopher Plummer, and Supporting Actress for Octavia Spencer.
Descendants only won adapted screenplay. Bummer. I was really hoping George Clooney would win.
Only surprise for me was Woody Allen winning original Screenplay for Midnight in Paris.
The Artist and The Descendants were my two favorite movies of the year. I would have been happy with either of them winning Best Picture.
The show was mostly a bust. Billy Crystal has lost his touch. The opening segment was good, but it was downhill from there.
Oh, and the sound guys need to check their equipment next time. That ringing or buzzing in the background was distracting.
