Father's Day fun...

Well, not entirely. Mom, Dad, and I went to Riverside to see Legally Blonde: The Musical. It was so much fun.

Unfortunately, I got REALLY sick overnight, and had to miss church and the Father's Day dinner. Everyone went to the German place downtown Fredericksburg (Paul's favorite). Mom and Dad brought me Wiener Schnitzel and Spaetzle, but I'm too sick to eat it right now. :(

I made a great cake, though. Everyone enjoyed it.

Dobos Torte. A yellow cake with chocolate frosting, topped with melted sugar, which hardens to make a "drum" (dobos).



It was messy but delicious. Next time, I'll use less burnt sugar!



Today is also Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary...these are the flowers Dad got for her. So pretty!



And it's Hawkeye's first "Father's Day". The "kids" made him a card. ;)



Speaking of Hawkeye...RennerHawk photos from this past week. Poor Jeremy can't even go to Staples without getting snapped by paparazzi. The other photo was from a party at the house he and his friend refurbished.



He's looking a bit tired and rough. He starts shooting Kill the Messenger next month...hope he's well rested by then!
