Yes, I have to have hernia repair surgery again. At least this time, it will be outpatient, unless the surgeon has to switch from laparoscopic to open surgery. He says that it's a possibility because of my scar tissue and surgical history, but he's sure that won't happen. So I probably will go home the same day!
So I don't get to go to Kentucky after all. Mom and Dad are giving me a consolation prize- the money to buy one of the AG Disney Princess dolls. I'm going to order Cinderella, but I'll probably get either Ariel or Tiana at the Tyson's Corner store.
Meanwhile, Tuesday was the sixth anniversary of my hysterectomy and cancer diagnosis. Six years, and still cancer free!
