A lovely Christmas!

My check-up with my oncologist went well. He's very satisfied with my progress and doesn't need to see me until next year. He was very interested in my gallbladder disaster, and checked out my scar. He said any lumps I still have are normal and will go away on their own.

I actually went to a Christmas party this year. It was a white elephant gift exchange, and I ended up with one of the nicer gifts. I wore a silly Christmas sweater for the occasion:

We had a very small choir for Christmas Eve, but we did well. The bells also played, and we got a lot of compliments! The altar was beautiful.

The church's altar, Christmas lights, and a topiary made at church that Mom bought.

Christmas Day was great. As always, many good presents were given and received. My biggest present was Isabel, Nicki's twin. I've renamed her Ashley.

Twin power! Katie gave me the Hello Kitty pillow and she made the blanket!

Speaking of sisters, Katie and I had matching Minnie Mouse ears.

The big family tree, with many gifts. Not everything fit under the tree!

My Christmas cake and a few more doll displays.

Maryellen had to be moved to a new spot. The final spot was the best.

Sam (and Astro) came down from New York, and Devon is joining us later this week. We're all going to see a musical version of Miracle on 34th Street at The Riverside. No New Year's Eve plans, though.

Astro and Maisie. They're sort of getting along.

Mom, Katie, and I are all exhausted from cooking, cleaning, chasing dogs, and choir work.
