I went to Urgent Care after breakfast because I couldn't stand the coughing anymore. The nurse gave me flu, Covid, and strep tests, all came back negative. The doctor came in and after checking out my cough ("I could hear you in the hall!") said it was a bacterial infection. Which, of course, is worse. They take longer to recover from. So she prescribed antibiotics and cough suppressants, and thinks I should be fine in another week. Ugh. At least now I know what the problem really is. I got home after picking up the meds and lunch, and went to bed. I had a fever of 100.1°. Still feel like utter crap.
