Many photos ahead.

Katie and I went to a Fred Nats game this week. It was Bark in the Park night, so Katie brought Maisie! She was very well behaved and had a great time.

Maisie loved all of the extra attention. She was excited to see so many other dogs! It was a fun night, and the Fred Nats won the game.

Maisie, Katie, and me. Maisie in a Mets hat, and meeting Gus the mascot. Sophie tagged along. She misheard- thinking it was "bring your doll", not dog. Oops. I got ice cream for all of us- mine came in a little ball cap.

Memorial Day weekend was nice. After our cookout, we played Scrabble. Mom got some interesting letters...

I have a bird's nest in one of my ferns! Jess took a peek...

I hope they make it. One is a cowbird, so that's not good.

The first lilies are blooming!

Rory is doing okay with his new meds. He's eating more. He sleeps a lot, but he is a cat, so I don't know if it's more than usual. He goes back to the vet next week.

Next week we should be going to Tyson's Corner for my delayed "I'm a survivor" celebration. And it's just in time for the newest AG release- Wicked costumes for Kavi! The Elphaba costume is stunning. When I pick up Kavi, I'll get that one. I'm on the fence about Glinda's costume. I need to see it in person. There's also Harry Potter stuff, including a Hogwarts Express playset. It's very cool looking, and if it were ten years ago I might have considered saving up for it...but I don't want to support J.K. Rowling and her anti trans bigotry.

On that last note- Happy Pride Month! The LGBTQ+ community needs support now more than ever. Maritza and Sophie are starting the celebration:
