Once again, I am struggling with holiday preparations. I've managed to get the decorating done, but now the hard part of baking is at hand. Sam and Devon are coming for Easter, and they had two requests: my spanakopita and a chocolate cake. No problem there. I also have to make treats for the coffee hour at church. If I didn't love to bake, I would probably be panicking now, because I'm behind in my plans. I'm going to miss the Good Friday service tomorrow, because I won't get done otherwise. Hour round trip to church, hour long service, hour long vigil (not required, but I had planned to participate). Three plus hours I need to work.
And of course, our tiny choir is singing Easter Sunday. I'm still worn out from Palm Sunday!
I'll get it done. I always do. And everything will look and taste great.

I still haven't had my five-year cancer survivor celebration. Too busy. Feeling pretty good, though.
