Last night there were terrible wildfires in and near Boulder, Colorado. The entire towns of Superior and Louisville (where my mom worked) and parts of Broomfield were evacuated. The evacuations have been lifted, but many homes and businesses were damaged or lost. Thankfully, no deaths or serious injuries were reported! My old neighborhood was in the direct path of some of the fires, but is apparently safe now.
The final Fuck You from 2021 just happened. Betty White of the Golden Girls has died at 99- eleven days before her 100th birthday. Rest in peace, dear lady. The world is a bit less bright today.
