Everyone in my family bubble has been sick this past week. Dad had to get tested for COVID19 because two servers at the country club where his Rotary club meets tested positive. Fortunately, his test came back negative! Mom has been really sick and is getting the test later. She really thinks she might have it. I've been sick, too, but I think I've just had a cold. I'm feeling better now. We've done everything right. Got the shots, wear masks everywhere, practice social distancing. It would really suck if we got sick after all of that. I'm really pissed off that people are still refusing to get vaccinated or wear masks. Those assholes are the reason the pandemic is sticking around. Ugh.
Rant over. I got some happy mail yesterday. Three parts of Courtney's new mix-and-match set! The short black pants, graphic sweatshirt, and jelly shoes are very similar to things I wore in the mid-80s. The hat not so much, but it's very cute on her!

Katie's latest appointment with her oncologist was good. It's been a year since she began chemo, and so far, there's no sign of cancer. My own next follow up with my oncologist is in December. I have been in remission for three years now!
