Chemo my have saved my life (still in remission from ovarian cancer), but it wrecked my teeth. The tooth that had a piece break off was repaired with a filling...for now. If it gives me any more trouble, I'll have to get a root canal. Ugh. And the tooth next to it has to be extracted. Ouch. So I have to set that up with the oral surgeon my dentist referred me to and make sure he'll put me under to do it! No way I'm undergoing that fully awake. And I also have five small cavities. I have to go in for cleanings three times a year now instead of two so that doesn't happen again. At least cleanings are free with my insurance.
