There is a new nest in one of the ferns. Four finch eggs, two cowbirds.

The neighborhood cats seem to be gone, so maybe these babies will have a chance! One of the cowbird eggs was cracked, though, so I took it out of the nest.
Came home to a glorious bunch of lilies and dahlias.

The bracelet on the bottom is my favorite. I've been wearing it almost every day since I got home. The rings are too small for me, but I wanted them anyway.
I'm pressing some of the flowers from the funeral arrangements. They're looking good so far.

Finally, I got some happy mail this week. The last two pieces of Courtney's mix and match set- the shirt and tie with her sunglasses. So 80s!
