The last three days have been unseasonably cold. I've had to use extra blankets at night! We did get some much needed rain, at least.
It may be cold, but the red hot poker flowers were, well, red hot! They were so pretty.

I may be going to Louisville this week. Aunt Pauletta is now unable to swallow, and that's usually the beginning of the end. It's so sad. Not a good time for my family.
I was supposed to dog sit for Katie this coming weekend, but obviously, all of our plans this week are up in the air. We're doing our Memorial Day cookout tomorrow, and Mom has her physical therapy twice this week, but that's the extent of our plans. I already have my suitcase half packed. If we don't have to head to Kentucky, Katie will go on her two day trip and I'll watch Giada.
