I had my CT scan today. I was exhausted all day, because I had gotten very little sleep the night before. Also, I'm still having trouble seeing after my eye appointment yesterday. I can't wait to get my new glasses in...The scan was fine, though I felt a bit sick from the I.V. contrast dye.
The scan itself only took ten minutes, but the prep took two hours!
Here we go again...
Cheers! This stuff wasn't as bad as previous contrast drinks.
I have been going to St. Mary's Hospital for three years now, and I had never seen the chapel until today. It looks like a nice, peaceful spot.
Now I just have to wait for the results. I'll have a virtual follow-up on Tuesday. Hopefully, there won't be any new problems.
Dad and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. It was the first time I've actually eaten in a restaurant since the pandemic started! We also made a quick stop at Dillard's. I didn't find anything. Boo.
Had a bad hair day yesterday. Lately I've had trouble with tangles. Last night, as I was working my comb through a bad spot (gently), a small chunk came out.
It wasn't a lot, but it was weird. It didn't even hurt, the strands just sort of slipped out. I thought I was having a chemo flashback! A couple of weeks after I get my second COVID-19 shot, I'll be able to go to my hairdresser. She'll fix up the bad spots!
