I had my follow-up with my oncologist today. It was a quick exam, but kind of rough. The doctor said everything looked fine, but because the exam was uncomfortable, plus the things I told him about how I was feeling, he ordered a scan. He said it was because he couldn't see or feel anything unusual, but wanted to double check. He thinks I'm fine, but it has been two years since my last scan. So that will happen next week, and hopefully everything will be clear. My lower back pain and stomach issues may be unrelated, but it's always good to check out!
One bit of good news today. I haven't gained any weight, and even lost some. Amazing, considering that I've been so cooped up and feeling gloomy.
