I got my first COVID-19 vaccination today! There were a lot of steps to go through before getting it. Mom and Dad got theirs, too. Our second shots are already scheduled!

Done with part one! I had a weird experience with mine. The syringe the nurse used was different than the ones she'd used before, and she thought she'd left the needle in my arm! She had to call over a doctor, who let her know about the new needle. LOL.

They gave out bracelets to everyone.

So far, I'm fine. I'm sore like with any kind of vaccine. I don't think I'll have any problems with it. This is just the first step. It will be about six weeks after the second shot before I can think of going out more. Wearing masks and social distancing are still a must, but by summer there should be enough people vaccinated for things to start getting back to normal.
