I had family visit last week. Entertaining was a challenge because a lot of things aren't open yet, and it's not a good idea to go out to restaurants with a group. Also, my aunt isn't in great shape, so she and my mom mostly spent time at home watching Netflix.
My Uncle Brad wanted to do stuff outside, though, so my dad and I took him to Calendon State Park to do some hiking and photography. It was fun. I haven't been able to do trails in two years, so it was nice to do get a couple of miles in!

Meanwhile, I had a special order come in. One of my AG Collectors board friends makes replicas of older American Girl clothes, and I had a dress made for Addy. It's one of the dresses I wished I'd ordered when it was available. Her version is pretty damned close to the original!

Part two of the day trips- I went with Uncle Brad and Uncle John to Government Island- a former quarry.
Another long walk, and a lot of beautiful, peaceful scenery.
