It really has sucked. The news about protests and the continuing COVID-19 crisis are enough to make anyone feel down. But then there were little personal things. First, I burned my hand while cooking. It's taking a while to heal. Then the chicks all died, which broke my heart. Which is weird, because they weren't pets and would have flown away soon anyway! And finally, I broke a tooth. This was not a surprise. Chemotherapy weakens teeth, and I've already had one crown put in since my last treatment. This new break is on a tooth that's given me trouble before. It doesn't hurt, so it's more like a big chip off, but I'm sure I'll have to get another crown. Fuck you, cancer. Even in remission, I'm still feeling the effects.
