So this is what I saw today at my Giant Food store.
Both sides of the toilet paper/paper towel aisle were empty. Panic buying really hadn't hit Fredericksburg yet, until there was a confirmed case at Mary Washington hospital yesterday.
It wasn't just paper products. Most of the meat and produce were gone. I saw staff cleaning all of those empty shelves, though, so they might just have delayed putting out stock for the day. The paper goods were actually gone, though!
This is getting crazy. All schools closed until the end of March at least, same for churches. No movies, restaurants are take out or delivery only. The libraries are closed, too. This pandemic had better burn out fast, or there are going to be a lot of miserable people!
